For those of you who don’t know about the plunge, this is an opportunity to raise money for a good cause by jumping into the ocean in the middle of the winter. We have had a team for five years now and have won in our division for two years in a row for amount of money raised. All money goes to Special Olympics Virginia. You can either plunge in a bathing suit or in a costume... so of course, we choose costumes! Our theme this year is Plungetoberfest - so break out your lederhosen and TEAM USA costumes and come out to join us. We normally start our day around 10:00 AM, warming our bodies up with some adult beverages at a nearby bar before the official plunge takes place at 2:30 PM (of course, you can arrive whenever you choose).
